About Us

Saint John LNG is a state-of-the-art liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving & regasification terminal and is the first LNG terminal in Canada, sending out natural gas to both Canadian and U.S. markets. In 2021 Repsol completed the acquisition of 100% ownership of Saint John LNG, which it has operated since the facility opened in 2009. Situated in Saint John, New Brunswick, the terminal is capable of sending 1.2 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day.
