The Chamber invites you to an upcoming information session with the Office of the Procurement Ombud (OPO). If your company currently does business with the Government of Canada—or is interested in pursuing federal contracting opportunities—this is a worthwhile session to attend. The Office of the Procurement Ombud (OPO) is a neutral Government of Canada organization that helps Canadian businesses navigate and resolve federal contracting issues. OPO investigates complaints from businesses, reviews federal contracting practices, and provides mediation services to help companies and federal departments resolve disputes and get back to business. All of OPO’s services are provided free of charge. Even if you have never experienced an issue with federal procurement, it is helpful to know what resources and protections are available should you ever need them.
